Proenza Schouler For Master & Dynamic

At Proenza Schouler, music plays a fundamental role in the design process. “On a personal level, music is a really big part of our lives and our creative process,” explain Proenza Schouler founders, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. The PS design duo “plays music in [the] office all day, every day. It’s one of the things that is guaranteed to put [us] in a mood. Nothing else in our lives has that power. It is endlessly inspiring.” Proenza’s obsession with sound, along with its focus on innovation, fine craftsmanship, and wearable luxury, made for a natural union.

The product of this creative union is a capsule collection of limited edition headphones that seamlessly exhibits the style, craftsmanship, premium materials, and design that both brands share. The signature MH40 Over-Ear headphones were reimagined with three unique leather and metal colorways: black with Proenza Schouler blue, off-white with copper, and black with gunmetal; each with a shiny goatskin headband lined with lambskin and perforated lambskin on the ear pads. Only 200 of each design has been produced.

Every product in the collaboration was created with an obsessive attention to detail, and includes co-branded materials such as Proenza Schouler custom etching on the screws and ear cup plaques, a heat-stamped Proenza Schouler headband, an engraved leather box, and a Proenza Schouler blue canvas pouch.
